Chartreuse

Description

I remember many years ago when I was a young woman working in the coolest night club in Sydney called ‘The Cauldron’. We used to have a drink called ‘Highly Volatile’. It was a shot made with Zambucca and Green Chartreuse. We lit it and then would down it and feel the warmth oozing down our throat. It was potent! This painting reminds me of those days. The chartreuse melding within the fiery surrounds. It has the feeling of a volcano about to erupt!

The artwork is very carefully protected with waxed paper, wrapped with multiple layers of bubble wrap then boxed in cardboard.
